Wireshark is a smart application for Mac that allows users to browse and analyze network data. It was basically developed for network administrators but it can be easily used by unexperienced users, as well. The main interface provides users with quick access to all of the features. This feature-rich application is an x11-based application so when launching the program, users will see x11 (a cross-platform windowing environment specific to UNIX systems) application popping out as well.
