Info updated on:

w3capture is a program designed for Mac users who wish to save the contents of webpages on their local drives for later reading. The application provides you with a user-friendly interface, supports batch processing, preserves the layout of the websites, and much more.

You can work with this Mac utility whenever you wish to download news articles, blog entries, etc. from the Web so that you can read them while you're on the road. The application supports various image formats, so you can transfer the resulted files to your multimedia device and check the saved webpages in offline mode.

I like the fact that the program brings an integrated browser and you don't need to use Safari or Mozilla Firefox in order to provide the URL for download. Furthermore, you can convert multiple websites in batch mode and select individual output profiles if necessary.

Another good aspect about w3capture is that it preserves the original layout of the webpages. In my testing, the accuracy was 100%.

Therefore, I can't find any reason why you shouldn't give w3capture a try. The application immediately offers you quality results, lets you choose from various output profiles, and comes with an adequate price.
