Control a soldier on a mission during the Second World War. Choose an Allied or a Soviet character and complete multiple levels while fighting the Axis powers. Utilize platforming mechanics to overcome obstacles and find the best paths to the goal of every individual stage. Keep track of your score.

Victory March is a very nice platform game for the Mac. The developers of the game classify it as a "WW2 themed sideway runner game", which pretty much explains what the game is about. You can play as a Soviet or as an American soldier. You have to jump from platform to platform without falling and, at the same time, you have to kill or dodge enemies.

You don't fully control your character's movement. You can only make him jump or shoot. You jump with the spacebar and you shoot with the "right" key. As you play, you will find bonuses and new weapons hidden in crates. Your pistol has unlimited ammo, but some of the weapons that you find have very little ammo, and once the ammo has been used up, the weapon is thrown away.

Victory March is a very fun game. I like the music and the fact that there are different types of enemies and the difficulty increases greatly as you play. The controls are very easy to learn and master. The music is fitting, but like most music in games, it can get a bit annoying.

There is a "deluxe" version that you can buy on the App Store which includes more weapons and even vehicles.
