Tipard iPad 2 Transfer for Mac is a backup utility for iPad users. It allows you to copy contents from and to your iPad 2. When you run this app with your iPad 2 connected to your Mac, you will see a brief summary of your device. This summary consists of the name of your device, its type, capacity, version and serial number. At the bottom, you will see a graph which shows the space used in video files, photos, books, and other data, and how much free space you have. On the right pane, you can click on the different data categories to see what is on your iPad. The available ones when I connected my iPad were Music, Movies, Ringtones, Cameral Roll, and Pictures. You can simply select any file that you want to copy to your Mac and click on the Export to PC button at the bottom of the screen.
In my testing, Tipard iPad 2 Transfer for Mac detected my iPad just fine. I was able to export a movie from it back to my Mac, but I was unable to copy content to my iPad. The app returned an error saying that the editing features were not available for the version of iOS that I have installed.
In conclusion, Tipard iPad 2 Transfer for Mac can be a useful app. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get all of its features to work.
