TimeCounter is a simple application which can be used as a timer or as a countdown clock. If you use the application as a timer, you can set a specific day and time to play a sound or remind you of a certain event. If you use it as a countdown, it will tell you how many months, days, hours, etc. remain for a certain event. No matter if you use the program as a timer or a countdown, you will be able to add a title, select a skin, and choose the displaying format. You can display the complete info (date and time), or just the remaining months, days, hours, minutes and seconds.
The program also allows you to play a notification sound from the ones included in the program or you can also add your own. A great thing is that the program allows you to create multiple countdowns or timers at the same time, and you can select completely different properties for each of them. Sadly, some of the skins don't look good and don't show the information clearly, so you should look for the ones that best suit your needs.The user interface is very simple, but not very attractive.
To sum up, if you are looking for a simple countdown clock or timer to remind you of important events, TimeCounter may work for you. However, I've seen much better similar applications out there.
