Sync Checker is a program that provides you with a quick and simple way to find out if two folders or disks are synchronized or not. The application features easy-to-configure settings, comes with a user-friendly interface, and immediately gives you access to the answers you need.
All you need to do in order to use this utility is to import 2 of your local directories or disks, configure the scan settings according to your needs, and click the "Check" button. The application will immediately start scanning the imported folders or disks and provide you with the results you need.
You will be able to see which are the differences between the loaded directories or disks. In my testing, the app revealed that 3 files weren't available in one of the imported folders.
However, the program only lets you know if there are any differences between the selected directories or disks. Hence, it doesn't provide you with solutions for fixing the found issues, like the ability to sync the loaded folders or disks. Another bad aspect is that you can compare only 2 folders or 2 disks at a time.
To conclude, it's up to you to decide if it's worth buying this application for your Mac or not. Just know it won't help you sync folders or disks that aren't synchronized.
