Info updated on:

SoHo is a Mac program that provides you with a quick and easy way to control the music being played within iTunes, Rdio, Spotify or Radium. This application sits on your Menu Bar from where you can change the player you wish to control, play the next song from the playlist, and much more.

Before using this utility you need to launch one of the aforementioned music players and start playing songs. Afterwards, SoHo will display the artwork of the song you're listening to and allow you to use the music control options (play, pause, resume, play next, and play previous).

You can also log in to your Last.fm account directly from the app's main menu. After you enter your credentials, the app will send the name of the songs you listen to your Last.fm online account.

The one thing I'd add to this app would be an option to launch iTunes or the other supported players from SoHo's interface. Other programs like SoHo provide you with this feature.

All in all, SoHo is a simple yet helpful iTunes companion. In addition, this application is free of charge. Hence, you have nothing to lose if you choose to try it on your computer.
