RipToo HD Video Converter is a video conversion tool. It was designed to let you convert high definition files into other formats. The supported output formats are AVI, MPEG-4, H.264, MOV, M2TS, MPEG-2 and WMV. The input format support is very good. I tried with MKV, H.264 and AVI videos and they were all opened without any problems. Unfortunately, there aren't any conversion profiles, not even for the most popular devices that other converters include.
Graphically, this converter sports a very simple interface. There is some space where the files in your conversion queue are listed, a video player on the right, and the video conversion settings at the bottom. There is a drop-down menu that lets you select the desired output format, and if you click on "Settings", you can change the resolution, video quality, audio quality and number of audio channels.
In my testing, I converted an MKV file into MOV. The original file had a resolution of 720p so I left the resolution settings untouched. The process was quite fast, to my surprise. The video was over a minute long and the app converted it in around 30 seconds, which is respectable. The quality of the converted file was good and I didn't see any pixelation or artifacts in the video. The sound was good as well.
