In this respect, you can manage transfers in a way that does not affect your Internet browsing by setting transfer limits and a maximum number of connections. Another possibility is to set specific times using the download scheduler so that data transfers are active only when you are not using the computer. The client also comes with other valuable features. In this regard, it is good that it supports proxy server usage, bandwidth scheduling and UPnP / NAT-PMP port forwarding.
All in all, qbittorrent is an excellent choice if you intend to share contents via torrents. Although the program comes with various helpful features, it does not offer anything that you cannot find in most other similar tools. However, you may add other features thanks to its support of extensions, such as Encryption, Magnet/BitComet URIs, HTD and Peer Exchange.
