Info updated on:

PlaybackPro Plus is a multi-channel non-linear video player, which allows organizing and playing clips in real time. The application can automatically adjust the output resolution and aspect ratio to match the connected hardware. In this respect, it is excellent news that it supports up to 4K UHD resolutions. Likewise, you can perform other manual operations, such as resizing, stretching and cropping, as well as configure other output parameters.

The application certainly has a steep learning curve as it is intended to be used for professional purposes mainly. However, if you are willing to take up the challenge, you can get a lot of help from the tool’s documentation.

The player allows you to import a list of clips and still images so that they are available for playback at the desired moment. Luckily, PlaybackPro Plus also comes with a mixer for crossfades and cuts between clips. Similarly, there is the possibility of planning everything in advance by saving runlists that include media to play, transition times and customized settings. It is also quite convenient that your lists can be saved as PDF formats or even sent to printer.

The tool supports connecting to all sorts of playback hardware, such as HD monitors, video projectors and switchers. However, it is quite demanding in terms of machine power, which means that if your machine does not meet its hardware requirements, the app will not be able to respond appropriately. more
