Info updated on:

PixelStyle is intended to enhance, correct and apply effects to your photographs. The application has a nice straightforward interface, but it could still require some practice before you feel completely at ease with it.

The layout of its interface does not differ too much from those of other similar apps. Most of the space is used as a canvas where you can view the image you are editing. Other important elements are the toolbar on the left as well as the Layers and Properties panel on the right. Occasionally, there will be floating panels for specific purposes as well.

The tool supports most of the features you can find in other products of its same type and scope. Still, do not expect to find anything out of the usual. In this respect, the app lets you correct problems with exposure and colour by adjusting such image parameters as brightness, contrast and saturation. Likewise, you can use it to resize, crop and rotate the source image.

The tool palette is quite extensive. You can find paint tools like brushes, a gradient filler, eraser, eyedropper and pencil. Similarly, you can use various correction tools that allow cloning a part of the image, smudging, fixing red-eye issues, removing scratches and filtering alpha channel. It is excellent that the tool supports layers, which you can group to your convenience. Toggling specific layers on or off allows you to focus on specific details of your work. Finally, there is a myriad of filters you can try on your image without the risk of damaging the original. more
