pingMe is a simple Mac application that comes in handy whenever you're dealing with a busy schedule and wish to be reminded of the things you need to complete before they meet their due date. The program places the list of all entered reminder items on your Menu Bar and notifies you when it's time to finish your tasks.

You need to write your reminder details according to a certain pattern. If you click the ? button from the main window of the app you will reveal several examples. After checking the samples, you can start adding your own reminder items to the main menu of the application. For instance, you can define a reminder like "I need to call Sam in 30 minutes".

One thing I don't like about this utility is that it occasionally fails to display words as you type them or within the main window reminder list. The problem is fixed if you restart the program. Another negative aspect is that the app doesn't display the amount of time you have left until the task due time.

As for the rest, the application worked perfectly. pingMe displayed a screen notification every time I needed to complete a given task.

All in all, I think I'd use this program on a daily basis if I'd be dealing with a large list of assignments. This utility lets you know when it's time to complete your tasks, doesn't slow down the performance of your Mac, and is free of charge.
