Info updated on:

Penman is a note-taking app built on the speech-to-text technology. This utility is a convenient alternative to the classic typing notes, as it can complement or replace entirely the ordinary writing method with the voice-based conversion into text.

The utility is aimed at both professional writers who need distraction-free tools, always at hand for whenever inspiration strikes, and regular users looking for a handy application to keep everyday thoughts, important events, and things to do. A great thing about this app is that it syncs across your devices. This way, no matter if you are in front of a computer or on the move with a portable device in hand, you can record immediately the ideas crossing your mind, thus avoiding partial or total forgetfulness.

Creating new notes or working on already existing ones is very easy. The note content support being edit in terms of line height, font size, text format, padding, and other text adjustment issues. Some of the editing features can be customized from the very start in Preferences or modified at need in the main window. Adding pictures to your notes is also supported. Yet, at reopening the note, you may notice that sometimes images are no longer displayed. However, the app offers to organize the notes into notebooks with distinctive covers and suggestive names. In addition, you have the ability to export notes to PDF, TXT, and HTML. more
