PDF Unlocker Expert is intended to open PDF files which have been encrypted and protected with passwords. The tool is effective in removing restrictions that prevent copying, editing and printing PDF documents. Although the application is very easy to use, you can find answers to any question from the online user guide.

Fortunately, the tool supports decrypting batches of PDF files. To do this, you just need to import the intended items by dragging and dropping them or browsing for them in Finder. If a given file is not encrypted, you can visualize its contents right away from the built-in viewer. If it is, you will need to enter the correct password to unlock it. Then, you can pick a folder which will hold the decrypted PDFs and press the Convert button.

It is a shame that, even though batch processing is allowed, you need to enter the password repeatedly in case all the loaded files were protected with the same one. In this respect, it would be good if the app tried to use previously provided passwords before asking to enter one. Regrettably, this is not the kind of tool you can use to unlock PDFs when you forgot the passwords.

All in all, PDF Unlocker Experts does exactly what its developers claim. It can decrypt a series of password-protected PDF documents, provided you know the password. The product is available from their website as well as from the Mac Store at no cost.
