Info updated on:

PDF to PowerPoint is a program which helps you convert PDF files to PowerPoint.
It’s a very simple application that has an interface built for easy handling. Besides the classic ‘Open file’, you have two additional possibilities to select a file for conversion. Thus, you can use the drag-and-drop method (personally, I consider it to be the easiest of all) or you may use keyboard shortcuts (unfortunately, the combination of keys is predefined and can’t be customized).

Once the file is brought to the converting pane, you get some information related to the PDF file, namely the number of pages and the size of it. The program supports only two output formats: MS Power Point 2008 and 2011. Moreover, you can choose to convert random pages (for instance 1, 3, 5) or one by one (for example 1-5). Anyway, the trial version allows you to convert only the first 5 pages of a file. This is actually the only restriction provided.

In conclusion, the conversion is done well; the output file can be edited with PowerPoint. However, when I tried to convert certain PDFs to PP 2011, the program closed without any warning or error message. What’s more, the application doesn’t have the minimize or the maximize option, which is rather annoying when you want to look for other windows opened behind the program.
