Info updated on:

NoteList is a simple note-taking application that allows you to write notes and organize them in different categories. The created notes will appear on the left side of the screen, and they will show creation and modified dates, a category, and a title. Then, if you click on any of them, you can view a written text. Sadly, the notes can only include texts, so you won't be able to add images, sounds, or anything. The text also offers only a few customization options, since you will be able to select the default font, size and color for all your notes but you cannot select specific features for each note.

The categories are completely customizable, so you can create as many as you want, and assign them a distinctive name, and select a text and label color. All the notes can be searched from the search dialogue that you will see on the upper part of the screen but you can also sort them by different fields, and show only those that belong to a certain category. The user interface is nice and easy-to-use, which is an advantage.

All in all, if you're in search for a simple application to create daily notes and have them organized in one place, NoteList may work for you.
