This application is more than just a video converter for Mac. Besides allowing you to convert clips between dozens of media formats, the program also enables you to extract soundtracks from movies, rip DVDs, create slideshows, edit videos, and much more.
Movavi Video Converter comes with a nicely-designed and intuitive interface. You don't need much computer experience in order to convert videos, songs or images with this app. All you need to do is import media files, choose the preferred output formats, and click the Convert button. The program will immediately convert the selected files to the format you chose, without slowing down the performance of your Mac.
You also have access to a wide range of editing tools. For example, you can trim the input songs, crop videos, adjust sound volume for an audio file, etc. The quality of the input files won't be affected after completing any of the aforementioned tasks.
Anyway, the feature I like the most is the Watch Folder tool. This integrated utility can monitor any selected directory for new files and automatically convert them to a chosen media format.
Unfortunately, the application comes with several disadvantages. For starters, you cannot import ISO files or attach subtitles to the input videos. Another aspect I don't like is that you can't select individual output profiles when batch converting media files with Movavi Video Converter. more
