Run multiple downloads simultaneously and optimize their speed on your Mac. Split the downloaded elements into parts and prioritize bandwidth spending and distribution. Automate the process of repeating any failed, incomplete, and cancelled downloads.

Maxel is a capable Mac application designed to accelerate your download speed. It does that by splitting the files to be downloaded into smaller parts and by automatically searching for download mirrors that provide faster transfer speeds. Using this tool will eventually help you maximize your bandwidth. This program might prove to be of good use whenever you wish to download multiple large files from the Internet and you require a quicker solution for completing the aforementioned task.

All you need to do in order to work with this app is to enter or paste the download links onto the app's "Add URLs" window and click the Start button. Maxel supports HTTP, HTTPS, and SFTP data transfer protocols, allows you to pause and resume downloads whenever you require, and immediately offers you the data you need in the designated destination folder.

The application provides you with detailed information regarding the status of any file that's being downloaded. For instance, it displays a list containing the connections of all file segments and their correspondent download progress. more
