This Mac utility enables you to recover lost or deleted files from your internal drives and removable devices. The application brings you a user-friendly interface, immediately scans the selected volume, and helps you restore multiple types of files.

All you need to do is to select the volume you wish to scan for lost or deleted files and the program will immediately start fetching the info you need. It will then display a list containing all of the found files. You can use the filtering options from the bottom side of the interface to group them based on their format, path or creation date.

You can restore up to 1GB of data for free. Hence, you get to see how the application works without paying a buck. Not many file recovery tools provide you with this advantage. Afterward, you need to upgrade the application to its Pro version and you can continue recovering more files.

In my testing, the utility worked OK, except for the preview of some of the found files. I wasn't able to preview videos, XLS or PDF files.

Another thing you need to consider is that the application doesn't feature an option to save scan results for later. This aspect might prove to be quite important if you need to scan and restore data from a large-sized drive.

Still, the simplicity and effectiveness of this program would be enough for me to purchase it. Unlike many other file recovery tools designed for Mac, this utility actually does what it's being said on the homepage of the developer and is very simple to handle.
