iSkysoft DVD to iPhone Converter is a DVD ripper for Mac OS X. You can use it to convert your DVD movies into video files that your iPhone can play natively. The application can convert files into the MPEG-4 format, which is the standard these days. It can use the MP4 container or the M4V container and you can also convert video files to audio files, in the following formats: MP3, M4A, AAC and WAV.
In terms of design, this ripper doesn't look as good as the last DVD ripper that I tried from iSkysoft. By the looks of it, the iPhone DVD ripper hasn't been updated in a while. A clear indication of this is on its screen, it says that it supports the latest model of iPhone and it names the iPhone 3GS which was released years ago. Still the app is usable and it works well. It can rip subtitles and audio tracks and you can process multiple titles at the same time. If you are using TV DVDs, you might have problems getting this app to automatically detect them, but you can always choose the titles manually.
All in all, this is an outdated app that you shouldn't buy. The most up-to-date DVD ripper by iSkysoft is $10 more and it supports all the formats that you will need for converting DVDs for playback on iPhones, iPods, etc.
