The one thing that you can't complete in Preview is to batch rename photos.
So, if you need an image cropping utility with batch renaming feature, you should try iFunia PhotoCrop on your computer. Otherwise, you can continue working with Mac's Preview tool if you ever need to easily crop pictures, without paying any money or installing third-party programs.
