iCleanUp Pro is intended to help you regain disk space and preserve your privacy by finding and removing obsolete and useless data. The tool has a very straightforward interface.
In fact, there is not much you need to do to scan your system. In this respect, it is good that you can reduce the scan time by checking those specific areas you want to explore, which include cache files, logs, email attachments and trash files. Likewise, it offers to find iOS Photo Cache, iOS Software Updates and downloaded files. Then, you can click on the round button labeled Scan.
Soon after starting the scan, you get the results. The report includes a general evaluation of your system status, together with the number of issues found in each category. At this point, you may want to save some time and proceed to remove all the problem files found; however, it is also possible to explore the categories and check only those folders or files you want to eliminate.
All in all, although it is good that the iCleanUp Pro can help you recover disk space, it may be not so good as other tools in terms of protecting your privacy. For instance, it does not come with a file shredder to let you erase sensitive files beyond any possible recovery. The product can be downloaded for free; however, it will not allow you to remove any file until you pay for the full version.
