This app is the second installment from the Heartwild Solitaire series developed by Orchid Games. Heartwild Solitaire - Book Two continues the story from the first game, provides you with a large amount of challenging levels, and offers you dozens of power-ups.
You can create as many player profiles as you like, play in fullscreen or windowed mode, and configure the sound settings according to your needs. The app also gives you access to a comprehensive help guide that teaches you how to complete missions and collect many points.
The goal is very simple: eliminate all cards from the board. You can do that by clicking over cards with one number higher or lower than the foundation card (the one displayed on the bottom side of the screen). The game is over once you run out of cards on the bottom of the screen or the board is empty. A good thing is that you can always replay missions if you wish to increase your overall score.
Another advantage is that you have access to various power-ups. You can use them to shuffle the cards from the board, display the values of the hidden cards, etc.
Personally I didn't pay much attention to the storyline. Instead of presenting the plot through images, the developers chose to show pages from a book. There's a lot of text content to go through. You can skip the reading if you want to and just play the card games.
All in all, Heartwild Solitaire - Book Two is an entertaining card game for users of all ages. The app offers you many hours of gameplay, has nice, colorful graphics, and comes with a reasonable price.
