As its names suggests, Grids for Instagram is a client that supports viewing and uploading photographs to your Instagram account. It has some very convenient features, like the possibility of organizing your pictures in a larger screen and its support of multiple Instagram accounts.

The application has a nice interface. Fortunately, unlike other tools that show images just as they would appear on your portable device, Grids for Instagram uses a responsive layout that accommodates them perfectly to the current window size. In this regard, photos are shown edge to edge by default (Square layout). However, if you do not like it this way, you can always switch layouts (Brief, Vertical and Horizontal), which allows you to use a background to separate images and read the caption accompanying each of them.

There are various ways in which you can find the desired videos or pictures. In this respect, you can search for people tagged in photos. Besides, it is possible to bookmark not only people but locations, tags, photos and videos as well. Likewise, you can get notifications when new feeds are posted.

Good news is that Grids for Instagram supports not only browsing pictures but also sharing new items, which also includes videos. Luckily, it allows posting items both individually and in batches (carousel mode). Besides, you can tag people, add a location and comment with captions. Finally, it is good to know that the tool supports Instagram stories, which is posting photos and videos that vanish after 24 hours. Regrettably, although it allows sharing items with other Instagram users, it does not seem to support macOS built-in sharing features.

All in all, Grids for Instagram is certainly much friendlier than Instagram app in terms of organizing pictures in your screen. The basic features of this tool can be used for free; however, you should pay for a monthly or yearly subscription if you need more than that.
