Access, open, edit and save files from different products on your Mac. Work with materials compatible with TextMate, Photoshop, Acorn, Terminal, and Finder. Check out the elements over SSH/SFTP, issue and configure permissions, and configure cloud storage functionality.

ExpanDrive is an application that allows users to manage multiple remote servers straight from the comfort of their desktop. It features support for multiple types of servers, all easy to configure. As soon as you set them up, servers become accessible just like USB drives. You can browse all your server files with Finder.

The utility is especially designed for developers who need to constantly upload their content on web servers. Even more so, you can easily add as many servers as you need and place drive shortcuts on the desktop. ExpanDrive supports SFTP (SSH), FTP/FTPS, Amazon S3 and Strongspace connections.

Another important feature is the ability to keep your servers connected. ExpanDrive will keep your connections available even if you change access points or bring the computer out of sleep.

The Drive Manager is a separate window that displays all connections created and lets you look up drives by their assigned name.

From the program's Preferences panel you can specify the default FTP and SFTP clients and set ExpanDrive to start at login.

Overall, ExpanDrive is a great application that offers the most convenient alternative to classic FTP, Amazon S3, Strongspace and SFTP clients. You just input the authentication details and transfer data from and to your servers. The utility lacks the ability to set individual keyboard shortcuts for each created web server connection. Also, a dual panel interface would make it much easier to transfer files.
