Emicsoft iPad Converter Suite for Mac is a very complete converter and manager. There are three different applications included in this suite: a video converter, a DVD ripper and an iPad manager. If you buy those three apps separately, you will spend $77, but if you buy this suite, you will end up paying only 35. So, if you are a user of commercial converters and rippers, this might be a good deal for you.
The main window of this suite acts as a launcher for each of the three included apps: Mac DVD to iPad Converter, iPad Converter for Mac and iPad to Mac Transfer. Clicking on any of those will launch the desired application.
The video converter and DVD rippers have limited output support, which makes sense. They can only output files in the following formats: MPEG-4, H.264, M4V, and MOV. They both come with conversion profiles for both the iPad 1, iPad 2, iPhone, iPod touch, and other Apple devices. They also have a standard video editor that can be used to trim and crop videos and touch up their brightness, saturation and contrast.
The iPad to Mac Transfer app is fully featured, with the exception of an audio player. It allows you to copy content from and to your iPad, including music, videos and pictures.
