Info updated on:

Eagle is a feature-rich application developed by CadSoft, and it is used for developing circuit boards, which are basically used in every electronic device. The piece of software comes with appealing interface and an easy-to-use menu that will grant the Mac users quick access to all of the features. The tool provides a wide variety of examples of circuit boards, and it makes it easy to switch between different models, as the browsing of the circuit boards opens a small window. This particular application does not burden your Mac, being rather cheap on resource consumption, so it allows the Mac users to use various applications simultaneous.

Although the tool comes with complete examples of circuit boards, it is safe to say that is not designed for beginners, as the Mac users must have Electronics knowledge in order to properly use the tool, otherwise it would look like a series of drawings of circles and numbers. The zooming tool it provides allows the Mac users to not only zoom in and out the whole project, but also to set up two points that will define the zooming area.

All taken into consideration, it is safe to say that Eagle is a complex editor for printed circuits; it has an appealing interface, is easy-to-use and it provides a large database of printed circuits.
