This application is, as its name clearly says, a program that helps you find duplicated files and folders on your Mac. The utility might prove to be of good use if you need to reclaim disk space on your drive by removing unnecessary file copies from your computer.

After you drag-and-drop or import the directory you wish to scan, the program analyzes the folder's contents and provides you with a detailed report based on the scan results. You can preview or pre-listen the found duplicates and batch remove the files you no longer need on your Mac.

Furthermore, the application lets you know how much disk space you can save by deleting the found duplicates. Another great aspect is the fact that the program organizes the found duplicates into categories, based on their file type (Pictures, Movies, Music, etc.).

Unfortunately, the version that can be downloaded from the Mac App Store comes with several limitations which can be removed by making a cheap in-app purchase. After making the purchase you will unlock features such as support for finding and removing duplicate folders, scanning hidden directories, etc.

In my opinion, it's worth installing this utility on your Mac. You don't have to pay much in order to get access to the full version of the program and you require minimum computer experience in order to handle this application. Plus, it works perfectly.
