DropDMG 3.0

DropDMG is an application that helps you work with Mac disk images. It creates and converts disk images and archives them with a simple drag and drop. This program supports all the major formats, including compressed .dmg files, .sparse bundle files, .zip and .tar.gz archives, and hybrid disk images.

Its configurations let you reuse common collections of settings, and temporary options allow you to easily make one-off changes. DropDMG quickly burns files, folders, or disk images to CD or DVD and the multi-session support lets you add files to an existing CD.

This tool offers the possibility to work while the program processes in the background, by running multiple operations simultaneously. It takes advantage of multiple processor cores for faster compression and encryption, keeps a detailed log of all the successful operations as well as any errors, and also offers detailed information about the disk images, such as their formats, partitions, compression ratios, check sums, etc.
