DiskRadar is a very complete hard drive monitoring tool. There are quite a few things that this app monitors. It can check the health and temperature of your drives. This can be a very useful tool to determine the overall health state of your drives, which can then help you to avoid data loss caused by a failing drive. Many sensors are checked during the health diagnostic mode, and the application logs the values to compare them with previous ones. Some of the available information about sensors is throughput performance, raw read error rate, spin up time, start stop count, power on hours, and many more.

Other than checking on your hard drive's health and current state, DiskRadar is also very good at graphically displaying how much space is used on your drive, how often files are accessed, and which folders have the most files in them. To be able to do this, the app carries out a scan that can take anywhere from a few minutes to a half hour, depending on your drive speed and size.
