How can I use the demo version? I have about 300 pages of handwritten text to recognize and I want to make sure it works before buying. But the software keeps asking for a license number.

Cisdem PDFConverterOCR asks for a license number probably because it doesn't allow you to perform the OCR operation for all those pages and instead the full version needs to be unlocked. You should try working with a lower number of pages instead because 300 is considered a very big number. I've also checked the official website, but there is nothing regarding the limitations.
