Chicken Invaders 3: Revenge of the Yolk is one of the editions of a well-known game. The entire series is based on the same argument and is played more or less the same. In this respect, you just need to move your spaceship across the screen and shoot your target, which makes it a funnier version of the classic Space Invaders.
The game allows you to pick the desired difficulty level. In this respect, there are three levels available: Rookie, Veteran and Superstar Hero. However, the latter can only be chosen when you have completed the game before. Good news is that you can activate in-game help to receive tips.
The game graphics are just OK; however, the soundtrack is great. Luckily, there are multiple settings to adjust the graphics quality, audio and screen size. Moreover, you can configure play controls to use different keyboard and mouse keys and functions.
The story of the game is quite hilarious: a breed of intergalactic chickens has decided to revenge their kinfolks on Earth by blocking sunlight and freezing us humans to death. Your task is to prevent the invasion by shooting attackers down.
There are different levels you should advance through. In each level, you must face different types of invaders, which come in waves. Likewise, you can collect bonuses, earn medals and power up your weapons. Thus, while you play, you get to discover seven weapons, including a secret one. more
