AppPolice is a system optimization tool for users who require to adjust the CPU usage limit for the running processes within their Macs. This program might come in handy when you wish to play a demanding game and you need to adjust the CPU resource values for other apps, so that you can run the game at its full potential.

By working with AppPolice you can check the amount of CPU resources that are used by all running apps on your Mac and adjust their levels according to your needs. These actions can be performed with only a few clicks by accessing the app's settings from the Menu Bar.

Similar programs only enable you to pause or stop the running processes within your Mac; the advantage of AppPolice is that it lets you select the proper CPU usage level for an app and keep it running in the background.

The only thing I don't like about working with this application is that it freezes occasionally.

As for the rest, AppPolice is a very simple to handle tool, gives immediate responses, and allows you to adjust the CPU usage level from 1 to 400% for any running processes. Plus, the program is open source, so you don't have to worry about paying any money later on.
