Info updated on:

Sometimes it can be difficult to keep applications up to date as not all of them automatically install new releases or let you know when new versions are available. AppFresh is a program for Mac that can help you with this situation by downloading and installing the app updates you require.

After you launch the tool, it automatically scans your system and lets you know which applications, plugins, and widgets are outdated. For each program, AppFresh offers you a detailed description, the license type, comments from other users, and much more.

You can download any number of updates and install them right away.

Still, the application brings two disadvantages: it occasionally runs slow and it sometimes fails to identify some of the installed apps.

To sum things up, AppFresh is a helpful program that can find, download, and install updates for the apps within your Mac. This tool also provides you with immediate access to the latest updates for applications, widgets, and plugins, offers an intuitive interface, and comes with a reasonable price.

AppFresh updates your software. You can check it on your external drives for software updates. It lists plug-ins, Mac app store apps and third party apps.

I tried out this AppFresh a while ago and it made a few errors such as telling me a few Mac Apps were in need of updating. But when I checked the publisher of the Apps website, I found that AppFresh had made an error on more than one occasion.

Why to pay to use an error-prone AppFresh?
