Adguard is a protection tool that prevents ads, banners, and pop-up windows from cluttering your view. Most web pages open with commercials and adverts that slow down your computer and distract your attention. In these circumstances, it is advisable to make use of an ad blocker like Adguard to help you navigate the Internet freely and undisturbed.

The program installs as a small icon on your Mac's menu bar, so that you can enable its functions with ease whenever the situation requires it. The tool provides three modules which refer to blocking ads from being displayed, to protecting your privacy against trackers, and to browsing safely by identifying sites with malicious content. The application keeps a numeric record of the blocked issues, so that you can see, at a glance, the importance of using the tool while surfing the Internet.

Using the application is very easy. All you need to do is switch between the "On" and "Off" modes to enable and, respectively, disable the protection. However, you can customize some advanced settings that will let you configure the program according to your needs. Therefore, you can edit a white list containing issues never to block; manage filters related to language, spyware, and useful ads; determine special blocking extensions, and filter applications related to network traffic.

To sum up, Adguard is an efficient tool designed to protect your system against various Internet-related threats. In addition, it prevents ads from being displayed when opening web pages.
