4Videosoft iPad 2 Manager for Mac is an application that allows you to manage the content on your iPad 2. Unlike 4Videosoft's iPad to Mac Transfer app, this one can copy content from your iPad into your Mac as well as put content into it. Graphically, both apps look the same, but this one has some nice extra features. As I said above, you can simply load a music file and it will be uploaded onto your iPad 2. And you won't even need to sync it with iTunes. This makes this application great for when you are on the move and want to add content to your iPad.
4Videosoft iPad 2 Manager for Mac comes with a video converter, a DVD ripper and a ringtone maker. All of these apps can be accessed from the same window. For example, if you open the video converter and load an MKV file (not supported by the iPad), then you can convert it and upload it to the iPad without having to open another window, which is very convenient.
In terms of performance, I thought that the video converter and the manager worked pretty well. The video converter was fast and the manager detected my iPad and uploaded content to it without problems.
One thing that you should keep in mind before trying this app is that if iTunes is running while you work with 4Videosoft iPad 2 Manager for Mac, you might run into some problems, so it is best if you close iTunes before launching this app.
