This app is the fourth installment from the 12 Labours of Hercules series developed by the Jetdogs Studios and Zoom Out Games companies. The storyline continues from where it was left off in the previous installment, with the gods being angry at Hercules for ruining their evil plans.
Your objective is to help Hercules and his wife, Megara, restore the villages that were destroyed by a beast sent by the gods. You will need to repair roads and buildings, collect goods, use Megara to rehabilitate forests, etc. Each mission comes with a list of tasks which you need to complete. There will be a time limit for all levels if you selected the Casual or Expert game mode. The Relaxed mode doesn't have a time limit.
While playing the game you will receive various power-ups which automatically refill after a period of time. For example, you can use them to increase the moving speed of your workers.
Also, by collecting the H letters which are randomly placed on the scenes you unlock additional mini-games.
Another thing I liked about this game was that it offered plenty of instructions which come in handy if you haven't played the previous installments.
Since it's a Collector's edition, like many other games that are published on the Big Fish website, it provides you with features that aren't available in its standard release. You will have access to an additional chapter, a strategy guide, and concept art which was used when the game was developed. more
